1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and present a valid government-issued photo ID at pickup, matching the name on your reservation. A bank card imprint (security deposit) is taken at payment, in that same name, before gear leaves the counter.
2. Booking & payment
Prices are shown in EUR at the time of booking. Payment secures your reservation for the exact dates and time slot chosen; founding rates may differ from standard rates confirmed at launch.
3. Rental period
Gear must be picked up and returned at the agreed times, at the Kuta Lambok counter. Half-day, full-day and multi-day formulas each have their own pickup/return window shown in your confirmation.
4. Late returns
Returning gear late without prior arrangement is billed at the applicable half-day or full-day rate for each additional period, charged to the card on file or due immediately at return.
5. Condition & inspection
Gear is provided as-is, matching the condition score shown at booking. Inspect your gear at pickup and flag any pre-existing marks or issues immediately — Gisèle photographs each unit before and after every rental.
6. Damage, loss & theft
You're responsible for the gear for the full rental period. Repair costs, or full replacement value if gear is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair, are charged to you. If you took the Casse 0 insurance option, accidental damage during normal use is covered at no extra repair cost — loss, theft, intentional damage, and use outside these terms stay fully chargeable either way. Either way, you sign a liability discharge matching your insurance choice, sent to you by email with your confirmation. We recommend checking whether your travel insurance covers rented equipment before you head out.
7. Cancellations & changes
Full refund if you cancel 48h or more before pickup. 50% refund between 24-48h before pickup. No refund inside 24h of pickup, though we'll always try to help you reschedule instead. Message us on WhatsApp or Instagram to cancel or change a booking.
8. Permitted use
Gear is for personal, lawful use only — no resale, subletting, or use in conditions the equipment isn't rated for (e.g. full water submersion without the proper housing) without discussing it with us first.
9. Liability
Gisèle isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from equipment use (missed shots, lost footage, etc.). Our total liability is capped at the rental fees you paid for the affected booking.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, with Bali courts having jurisdiction over any dispute that can't be resolved directly.
